How it works
01 Assess
Face-to-face, on the leg. If it is a varicose vein, we say so and we do not treat it.
02 Close
Sclerotherapy. A small injection into the vein. Superficial veins only.
03 Review
The vein fades over weeks, not on the day. Some need more than one sitting.

Downtime. Bruising and a brown stain are common. Walk the same day. Stockings, as you are told. No sunbed on the leg while it settles.
Common questions
What are spider veins?
Fine red, blue or purple veins close to the skin. People also call them thread veins. They are not the same as a varicose vein.
Do you treat varicose veins?
No. If the vein bulges or stands up off the leg, this is the wrong treatment. We will say so.
Do you treat veins on the face?
No. This sitting is for spider veins and thread veins on the legs.
How does it work?
A small injection into the vein. It is for veins you can see through the skin, not for deeper veins.
How much is it?
£125 a session. A course is £300. How many sittings you need is decided on the leg, not from a photo.
Will they vanish on the day?
No. The vein fades over weeks. The leg can look more bruised before it looks better.
Will they come back?
The vein that was treated should close. New ones can appear later. It is not a promise that the leg stays clear.
What is the downtime?
Walk the same day. Wear the stockings you are given. Expect bruising, and sometimes a brown mark that fades. Keep the sun off that leg while it settles.
