Cross-linked hyaluronic acid, 25 mg per ml. Lidocaine 0.3%, already in the gel. The lip is still numbed first. One syringe holds 1 ml. A second syringe is another £250. It is not RHA Kiss. RHA Kiss is 0.7ml, £175.
What it is for
Lip volume and lip shape, when the lip needs more body than RHA Kiss. Lines around the mouth can be in the same plan. It is not a cheek filler. It is not Deep Lines. Deep Lines is for folds, 1ml, £250.
The first week
This gel draws more water than RHA Kiss. The first days are fuller than the result. Redness, swelling and tenderness can last up to a week. Bruising can sit longer. If they are still there after a week, or the lip goes pale, mottled or very painful, contact the clinic the same day.
How long
Temporary. Often about 9 to 12 months in a lip. Not a guarantee. A top-up is the same product. Wait at least two weeks, until the reaction has settled, before another syringe.
After
No makeup for 12 hours. For two weeks, avoid long sun, sunbeds, UV, temperatures below freezing, sauna and steam. Leave the lip alone. No massage unless you are told to. Sleep a little raised the first night. Skip a hard workout, alcohol and a hot bath on the day.
